The 2018 holiday season threw some major curve balls at me but I'm now using them to give you something quite special. This limited edition kit came from a last minute order from a visitors' bureau in a major city. I didn't want the extras I ordered to go to waste so I'm putting them in the shop next week. Some of you may recognize this kit from my collaboration with DMC three years ago. I've repackaged this map to include Sublime Stitching thread and all the other kit components. I think it'll look great on a bookshelf.
Want to stitch one up yourself? I'll be putting 15 in the shop on Wednesday, January 16th. Since they're extras, once they're gone, they're gone.
Today through Monday, I'm celebrating the start of the holiday season by giving you free shipping on every domestic order. There's no code needed. Just enjoy shopping for fun kits for yourself, friends, and family, knowing that you're also giving to charity.
Happy early Thanksgiving! I hope you have everything ready for the big day tomorrow. I'll be busy making mole today for my international Thanksgiving of vegetable mole tacos and tiramisu. (Yes, my husband and I are weird but we're okay with that and no one else is coming over so it's fine.)
If you're planning on starting your holiday shopping (both for yourself and for others), I put together a little gift guide. This way you can take advantage of the free shipping and charity donation for the Black Friday AND get a few names crossed off your list.
We're just about to start packing our kits with thread from the lovely Sublime Stitching! I'm thrilled to be working with another female-run business. They care about my fans (that's you!) and are constantly working to improve their product. This newest batch of thread I received is softer than ever! There will be a super brief transition period between the DMC thread and the Sublime. I'm working to make it seamless but there may be a few bumps. Please bear with me. The new colors are nearly identical to the old so you really won't notice the difference save on a tiny fraction of kits.
