Get ready for the royal treatment ...peacock-style

June 10, 2016 Megan Eckman

When I first started stitching Percival (yes, I named him), I was worried his feathers would be too hard to sew, that his colors would be too bright, and that no one would want to sew a peacock. You quickly made it quite clear with your comments on Facebook and Instagram that I was wrong on all counts.

I know that you're anxious to make your own brilliantly plumed peacock so you'll be thrilled to hear this bright kit will be available on June 15th. Just one week away!

Now, these kits will be sold a little differently because I'm not quite sure if the birds have all of their royal adoption papers in order (Percival is a king after all) AND I'm going to be off for my San Francisco wedding on the 18th.

To make sure these kits go out the door before I board my plane, there will be just 15 peacocks available on the 15th. After that, more won't be available until I return. To make up for this inconvenience, I'm offering the first 15 kits at an early bird price of $25. After that, the price goes back up to the usual $30.

So be sure to act quickly next Wednesday to grab yourself one of these limited peacocks. Otherwise, you'll have a long wait before more are ready to ship. (Don't worry, I'll email you the moment the kits are in the shop if you're on my mailing list.) While you're waiting, you can start thinking up what you'll name your peacock.
