Many a sailor has a sleepless night when reports of the kraken reach their ship. The giant octopus lies in the deep, waiting for a ship to pass overhead. Normally a docile creature, it takes a large satisfaction in breaking up cargo vessels full of treasure. For as everyone knows, the octopus is a glamorous invertebrate.
