“There once was a man with a beard, who said, “It is just as I feared! Two owls and a hen, four larks and a wren, have all built their nests in my beard.”

This is the first piece of my “Birds of a Feather Flock Together” series which expands the nursery rhyme above to the man and his wife, having them share the birds between them. Put together, the pieces are reminiscent of old family portraits.
