I may or may not have an ice cream maker sitting beside my little rosemary tree!  I’m controlling the urge to rip off the wrapping paper but I can’t help searching the internet for gourmet ice cream recipes.  Just in case, you know.  And in case you’re getting an ice cream maker too (or if you already have one but haven’t played with it lately), I’ll share the top 5 I’m deciding between.

Blueberry Pie Ice Cream

Blueberries, graham crackers, and ice cream!  Need I say more?  I think not.

Malted Guinness Milk Chocolate Ice Cream

Beer and ice cream?  Could it get better?!  Well, maybe by adding chocolate.  Hehe.

Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream Sandwiches

Are you drooling yet?  I know I am!  Perhaps I’ll just have to make ice cream AND ice cream sandwiches.

Salted Butter Caramel Ice Cream

How could I leave out the classic but oh-so-good caramel ice cream?  It’s simple but still amazing.

Strawberry, Mint, and Almond Ice Cream

It sounds a little different but it looks like it would be delicious!  And who doesn’t love strawberry ice cream?

Which flavor would you choose for your first batch of homemade ice cream?  If you have one I didn’t list, please let me know!  I can’t wait to make lots and lots of yummy flavors.

First of all, you drawings are absolutely wonderful…I stumbled upon your work looking at embroidery patterns…

The moon has always been an iconic image for me…

David Lebovitz site is fabulous…the german chocolate cake is incredible…and I think the ice cream must be…

Since you are in San Jose, if you haven’t been to Marianne’s in Santa Cruz, on the right side of the street when you are leaving to get onto highway 17…you must go…

Thank you so much for the recipe! It looks divine. I’ve not been to Marianne’s but it’s on my list now! I’m in Santa Cruz quite often since my work is on display in the downtown Artisans Gallery and Boutique. Thank you so much for your kind words!
